I have a confession to make, I am done with my daily photo challenge. Don’t get me wrong, I had a blast but I am ready to move on to other projects so I am cutting my photo challenge short. I have received new projects coming up in the near future and need to focus on them.
What I learned during this challenge: I have learned to see the world in a totally new perspective and that everything is unique and different in its own way. I also learned that I have to work solely on my discipline and time management to really complete a huge challenge like this one. It takes a lot of time to photograph, upload, edit and post photos everyday on a consistent basis. I have to give my self kudos for trying and also managing a full-time job and taking care of a family at the same time! Whew… Not to mention, I have been in mud, walked in tree lines, laid on the ground to take some pictures and had to use my imagination to figure out what to photograph, and I learned how to use composition correctly. I enjoyed taking every shot and I feel that it has helped me become a better photographer for it. I don’t want to say that I’m quitting because I’m not, I’m saying that I am accepting new projects and new opportunities, which is why I have to end my 30 day challenge early.
So now that I have that out of the way. I have been playing with Photoshop and learning a lot about presets and actions. Presets and actions are a popular way to enhance and add creativity to your photographs. This is something that can be done in post-production software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. I went back to some of my old photos and enhanced them in Photoshop, so I wanted to share the difference these enhancements can make to your photos. I’m just having a little fun playing with these. Some of these enhancements are pretty basics but you will get the jest of it. Enjoy!
