Hi Everyone! So sorry my post is late. I had a crazy weekend and Sunday is no exception. I have started to venture out to photograph houses for a realtor friend. Yay!! I’ll share some pictures of the houses I shot soon. Anyway, I had the pleasure of photographing the Garrett family on Saturday at one of my favorite spots, Jacobson Park in Lexington, KY. The last time I went there for a photo shoot was with Landon. Check out his pictures too, if you haven’t seen them.
The funniest thing happened prior to the photo shoot though, well it wasn’t funny at the time, but I can laugh at it now. I actually got there about 10 minutes prior and I started setting up. Once I got my camera in hand and getting ready to setup my camera, I realized I did not have a camera battery. It was still on the charger at home. I was freaking out! Oh my gosh! I don’t want to cancel because this wonderful family is coming from another county to get this photo shoot done and the husband made sure that his schedule was open for the event. So as I am leaving, they are arriving and ready to go. So I had to tell them that I needed to get a battery. Needless to say, about 45 minutes later and 3 stores. I found a camera and was ready to shoot this precious family. A day in the life of a photographer! Ha ha! Please enjoy these photos.
